Class I

@Marshalled(typeName="i") public class I extends HtmlElementMixed<I>
DTO for an HTML <i> element.

The i element represents a span of text in an alternate voice or mood, or otherwise offset from the normal prose in a manner indicating a different quality of text, such as a taxonomic designation, a technical term, an idiomatic phrase from another language, a thought, or a ship name in Western texts. It is typically rendered in italic text and is used to mark up text that should be distinguished from the surrounding content.

Examples:

import static org.apache.juneau.bean.html5.HtmlBuilder.*; // Simple italic text I simple = i("This is italic text"); // I with styling I styled = i("Styled italic text") .class_("emphasis"); // I with complex content I complex = i( "The ", strong("HMS Victory"), " was a famous ship." ); // I with ID I withId = i("Text with ID") .id("italic-text"); // I with styling I styled2 = i("Custom styled italic text") .style("color: #666; font-style: italic;"); // I with multiple elements I multiple = i( "The ", i("HMS Victory"), " was a ", i("first-rate"), " ship of the line." ); // I with links I withLinks = i( "See ", a("/ships").children("ship database"), " for more information." );
