extends TypedFunction

#{len(s)} / #{len(s, delimiter)} — replacement for the legacy $LN{...}.

Single-arg form returns the character count. Two-arg form splits on the literal delimiter (after trimming leading/trailing whitespace, matching the legacy LenVar behavior) and returns the part count.
